Final Design

This is the final piece if i could change something about this font is the ice never worked to show the water element of the canals.

Making the Letters

we line the screws up the before gluing and when they were right we glued them and stuck them into some mount board and made the canal route is shown on the the board as well and the font goes down the canal it's self

ICE

the ice melted before we put it on the presentation the ice was on the font to show the water of the canal instead of using the ice we have used copper wire and screws

concept one

This was to show our ideas wile will were walking

round the

city and we came out with

them, we were getting a feel for

the type in the city and this is what we came

up with and we writ them down and found some ideas how to

go about the way we were going to put the industrial background Birmingham had.

This type is very modern and commercial, this is the company’s name which like the Victorian did was to put there name above the door because they through they would have been there for centaurs so like these they have done it hope they will be there for time to come but the san serif font comes out more in the green light when you walked past it stud out away from every one else and was help there business better just from the typefaces of a well knew brand glowering

I like this font because it has aged with the times as when this was first put out it looked like it would have bin the round and how they have made the letters 3D and stand out this is what would have attracted them to stop this would have been the customers fist impression so it had to be right for the time.

This text comes out of the background when the snow has bin brushed into it, you can see the weight of the stems and serifs and this is the typeface Baskiville i think how the serifs are not curved so much they are more direct. I think this is a really good way to show a type out side when the weather comes.
